Default Lasik and juvenile arthritis? (arthritis eye)

I have been asked if Lasik surgery can be safely performed on a 21-year-old
with juvenile arthritis. The young man's eye specialist said he wouldn't
touch him. Can someone enlighten me about this?

TIA

Default Lasik and juvenile arthritis? (arthritis glaucoma cornea lens intraocular)

21-year-old

Juvenile chronic arthritis or JCA.
The possible problem involved is:

Uveitis , an intraocular inflamation and in LASIK they do not like
inflamations that could effect the cornea, the lens cristallina, neither
they want the risc's of a secondary glaucoma.
BTW, in JCA the patient often has no knowledge about his uveitus but an
optometrist or opthalmologist, whith the slitlamp could diagnose it.
