Default LARRY WON! - heard from Susan (down heart)

Repeatedly through his later life, Larry tried to get the VA to accept the
responsibility for his heart problems due to some of the things they put him
through in Special Forces. He was turned down every time. When he died,
they tried to take away most of Susan's survivor benefits since his death
was not "service related" or an injury from his service duty. She appealed.
She found out today that they have approved her claim!! Larry has been
vindicated and Susan can stay in their home, etc., because the money will
now be only about $16 less than when Larry was alive. So that means she
will have the necessary funds to meet her monthly bills. She is greatly
relieved and asked me to post about the victory. I told her to have a drink
on me.

Excellent!! I'm so glad that Susan won't have to worry about losing the home
she shared with her best friend and soul mate. How awful that would have
been.

I only wish Larry hadn't had to worry about any of this before his passing.
I'm sure he's got a round up on the bar, though.

At least there's that. The other way around would have just been so wrong.

Dammit, I want him back. :-(

The very same thing happened for the wife of the best friend of my life.
He carried some of those golf ball lumps of agent orange to his grave.
He really fought the VA. Good for Susan.

Great news. Sounds like Larry is still fighting battles where he is to take
care of those he loves.

YIPPPPEEEEE! That is such wonderful news. It's bad enough losing someone you
love, without having to deal with the stress of money.I'm so happy for her! It
seems like Larry had some pull up there!! Sue
