Default Dysparthria (stroke)

Can anyone help me with this problem? I had a stroke last November, which
left me with virtually no voice. So 5 minutes of a severe pain, and then no
voice at all! Before that, I used to lecture for up to 2 hours with no
noites, and now nothing.

My voice is improving, to the extent that at least my wife can hear and
understand about 80%, but my friends and neighbours cannot.
Short of a LightWriter, which helps, can anyone help me find my voice again?

I'm 59, if that helps you.

Depends on where you live. I would find a good, university based, speech
pathology program and see if they can help you.

Your doctor may be able to refer you, or, some time on line checking out the
local medical schools/hospitals, may prove fruitful.

In any event, I suspect that you have more improving to do. Good luck.
