Default SLT follow-on to ALT (eye)

SLT is nor readily available to me, but ALT is. My EyeDoc says no
problem, that even if the ALT is done twice (50% coverage each time)
SLT can still be subsequently done as a follow up. My sense, with no
data to back it up, is that the SLT backup could be possible after 1
ALT/eye, but beyond that one the network is torn up, it is torn up.
Anyone know for sure---or as sure as one can be???
TIA
Roy

Default SLT follow-on to ALT

I've had two rounds of ALT several years ago, and have been reasonably
stable on Cosopt and Xalatan of late. My ophthalmologist says SLT is an
option, but says the primary reason for it at this point would be to
eliminate one of the drops, possibly both. But he's not pushing it, and
I'm not either, for the moment.
