I'm Still Clogged Up and Producing Green Mucus (Since October)

I've tried Biaxin (7 days), Augmentin (14 days) and now Cipro for 10 days
and my sinuses are still infected.

I'm irrigating twice a day with salt water using an ear bulb.

What should I tell my doctor tomorrow ?

Try irrigating with bactroban or another antibiotic solution. that
should do it.

Do I need a prescription for bactroban ?

I never heard of it and I bet my doctor never did either.

Yep, they have a liquid for it. It's given to alot of nurses in
hospitals these days.

after failing three antibiotics you should have your nasal cliia checked, as
well as a CT scan.
Failure after three antibiotics may be due to failure of cilia movement or an
anatomical problem.
Are you taking enough tea and liquids, compresses?

Ask your doctor about using pulsatile irrigation to restore the cila function.

I had a CT scan performed following 2 weeks of Augmentin. The scan
showed no sign of disease or structural problems.

I can breathe through my nose if I take Sudafed to open it.

I drink water all day long.

What's so special about tea ? Is it the steam or does
the warm liquid somehow cause a reaction in the sinuses ?

Did the CT show alot of swelling in the sinuses?

The ENT didn't say anything about swelling.

He just showed me that the sinuses were black. He
said if there were gray areas, that would mean I
have an infection.
