Default More insanity

Hi gang,

I was just read through some mail and found a message from a woman who
worked in the office of Dr Cecil Knox, who is apparently looking at life
for what the DEA or whoever considers improper prescribing of Oxycontin. I
guess that's what it's for, the message didn't have any background on the
case.
Anyhow, she was the office manager who worked for the doctor's office, and
they are charging her with the same "crimes" as the doctor. I don't know if
she's suspected of participating in diversion or something like that, but
if not, just for working in the same office, she's looking at life behind
bars too.
I just can't believe the balls of these people. It's bad enough to
persecute patients in pain looking for relief, or doctors who try to help,
but just because she does some filing for the guy? I knew what cold
hearted, uncaring, bastards they were but this sets a new low. I'm sure
they'll top it, though.
I only hope, in their stupidity of charging anyone and everyone, they end
up shooting themselves in the foot. (literally as well as figuratively)
Just keep it in mind if next time you call the doctors office the staff is
a pain about calling in a prescription. It's because they have both hands
busy, trying to keep their asses covered.

Take Care --og

They found out she was one of Rush's sources of supply. Direct
housekeeper connection.

I don't know if this is a good source, but I found this article that
indicates she plead guilty. It looks like she approved refills and admitted
to knowing that the office was involved in illegal drug activity. It does
not ********ly state that she knew she was approving illegal refills, but it
does look that way to me.

The LEO probably scared this poor woman to death, so she rolled. Of course to
her it looked like the "best" way out of this situation. And the last part of
the article about the pregnant woman is absurd. Keeping a pregnant woman on
opiates is standard medical practice, otherwise the woman could lose the baby
during withdrawals. And NAS (neonatal abstinence syndrome) can be easily
managed by a competent doctor. There is absolutely no need for a baby to
suffer "severe withdrawals". IMHO< this lady should sue her OB/GYN for
malpractice. And not all babies born to opiate using mothers experience any
NAS at all, regardless of the mothers opiate dose.

So much garbage in this article.

Unknown Hacker

A person who enjoys exploring the details of programmable systems and how
to stretch their capabilities, as opposed to most users, who prefer to
learn only the minimum necessary. A malicious meddler, who tries to
discover sensitive information by poking around, hence `password hacker',
`network hackerą. The correct term for this sense is cracker.

Crackers find the door, Hackers provide the tools, CypherPunks to crack it
open, and the Phreakers cover your tracks.

As far as I'm concerned, spammers are nothing more than electronic
home-invasion thugs.

Conclusion:
I am right, everyone else is wrong. Told you I was arrogant.

I am so sick of shitty stupid reporters that write about subjects they do
not understand. Some of these idiots that cover medicine, or "the war on
drugs" bring their own biases with them and end up misleading theor readers.
It is pathetic.
