Hello Chuck, just a thought, but perhaps the mass you and the doctor are
feeling is an inflamed epididymous. I don't know if an ultrasound would
pick this up or not. I have had this condition for many years, and went
through much worry when it first arose - it still does feel like a distinct
mass to me. It occasionally flares up and can cause a lot of pain - are you
having any pain? The good news is that even it if does turn out to be a
tumour, testicular cancer has an extremely high cure rate, in the high 90%
range as I recall. Take care,
