Default Abilify night 1 (abilify)

I took the abilify and nothing much happened. An hour later I took the Depakote
and went to bed. I tossed and turned all night and never stayed asleep for more
than maybe a half hour at a time. I got up to use the bathroom around 2am and
felt as though I had a bad flu and was about to puke. At 2:30am I took Ativan.
Didn't help at all. I still tossed and turned and had vivid dreams. This morning
my right hand was weak for a while. So far only bad, no good, but it's only been
one night so we'll see. I hope this sleeplessness thing wears off.

Insomnia is a side effect of Abilify. See how it goes tonight. If you
still have a problem call pdoc. He can probably prescribe a short term
sleeper for you.

I totally agree. Abilify was explained to me, in my case, to be an
"enabler". That is, something to help give me the motivation and
energy to overcome my depressions. I don't think that itis something
conducive to sleeping.

I've been taking mine in the morning. My pdoc said it didn't matter when I
took it. I heard it can be stimulating for some people, so I take it in the
morning. I still had a little trouble sleeping last night, but I was having
trouble before. Before I would wake up too early but last night I had
trouble getting to sleep. I still feel pretty good this morning though.
