Default advice would be helpful (asthma down wheezing)

History: I have asthma from an exposure to bromine it has been very
stable for at least 5 years. I have never had an all out attack. My
attack if I do get anything are mostly coughing which stops after
about 10-15 minutes. But over the last few weeks I have noticed (2-3)
a full feeling in my chest. At first I didn't connect it to asthma
but yesterday walking back from lunch I realized I was really
breathing heavy almost almost on the verge of gasping for air. After
I got my breathing under control I also had the full sensation in my
chest. Since I have never experienced a "tradition asthma attack"
could this fullness be a part of an asthma attack there is no
wheezing. I have been experienceing this almost everyday and
sometimes 3-4 times a day. I have never had to call my lung guy for
anything other than infections so I am rather stumped as to what to
do. I know I could call my Dr. but I am one of those patients that
puts that way down on my list of things to do especially if I am not
sure if he is even that right right guy to call. Any advice would be
greatly appreciated.

Thanks
DMG
