Sorry that has caused you problems. Could it be dyes that are used?

I hope you find a med that fits you. It must be a bummer that you
can't use a med that doesn't cause problems, ATM.

Default Allergic to Buspar? (buspar anxiety withdrawal)

I stopped taking it yesterday. I feel better without it. A little shakey,
but I thinks that's a mild withdrawal. I'll see how the anxiety goes. You
should have seen my eyes. Looked like I had been on a 20hr crying jag.
Lotsa cold compresses last night. I have to call on Friday to let them know
how I'm doing. I looked buspar up on line and it should take a couple more
days for it to clear my system. I told my therp that if there is a side
effect to be had by a med, I'll get it. Especially the rare ones like the
Lamictal rash. That was really fun!

Default Allergic to Buspar? (allergic prednisone)

Did you call your pdoc about the allergic reaction? When I had my allergic
reaction to Trileptal, my doc gave me prednisone and a topical cream to help
get over it. I Just thought maybe you could use a little more help with the
reaction. Even with all the meds it took me 4 days for the rash to go away.
I hope yours goes away sooner. I know how you feel and it sucks

Default Allergic to Buspar?

I stopped the med soon enough so that it's clearing up pretty quickly. All
I have left now is some very dry flaky skin around my eyes. I look soooo
lovely...not!

Default Allergic to Buspar? (trileptal lamictal)

My pdoc is out of trileptal, so after I'm out of it, I'm supposed to
switch to lamictal. We will see, hopefully my company health insurance
will kick in by then.

I do hate the late hours, though, but it's all I've got. I have to
have some sort of recent stable work history on my resume. It's just
hard to wait it out. I have been too impulsive of sorts with stuff. I
know you know what I mean.

But at least I have the stamina and will to resist it (well at least I
hate the side effects of some of my decisions, and meds help me be
more stable).

Default Allergic to Buspar? (bipolar disorder panic anxiety)

Maybe it's just as well that the Buspar
causes such a reaction when you take it. The new APA guidelines state that the
current treatment prorocol for bipolar disorder is: an antidepressant, a mood
stabilizer and an anti-anxiety med if you
suffer from panic/anxity attacks. All this,
PLUS ongoing therapy have shown that
bipolar people do very well on this regime.

Default Allergic to Buspar? (allergy benign)

I'm on Trileptal as a mood stabilizer and Wellbutrin and an AD. I was on no
antianxiety med. They didn't want to prescribe benzos because I have
addiction problems. For most people, Buspar is a very benign med. I happen
to have a hypersensitivity to meds, both psych and general. If there's an
allergy to be had or a rare side effect to be experienced, it find me. If
the anxiety doesn't clear up soon we'll have to look for something. I'm not
too bad today but it seems to get worse as the day progresses. I know my
friends death really did a number on me.
