Hi everyone,

Well I just got back from the hospital. Dad looks better and better
everyday, it's hard to believe he is sick. I'm really upset because the
ongologist that we haven't met yet went and saw my dad this morning and
told him that he had bad new for him and then told him he had a year if
he's lucky to live. I'm sorry but I don't think that was right. Not while
he is recovering from surgery. When I got there the dr. was gone and my
dad was there crying. I just think he should have said that his prognosis
will depend on how he responds to treatment. Anyways The head surgeons who
did his surgery came in later in the day, i told him what the ongolosist
said and he agreed that it wasn't the right time. especially because he
was alone without family support. I know the reality of this cancer, but I
just try and bstay hopeful. The surgeon said that he had alot of
connections at a hospital with a dept. specializing in this type of
disease and have alot of research going on. Then he said if that doesn't
work we can look into a transplant. I know the cancer is not in his
organs, and they said that his liver and pancreas was fine. I'm gonna find
out more on monday. All I can do is keep praying.

By the way I'm new to posting things on here so be patient with me. has
anyone heard of photodynamics? Or what about interfuron with chemo? any
infi is appreciated
