Default Bruising and leg pain (aspirin outbreak heart)

I am having an outbreak of bruising on my legs and arms...looks like someone
has beat me up. The bruises are long, one on my leg is about 8 inches long
and 2 inches wide...Also my legs , (shins) ache constantly. I had blood work
done but didnt help explain . Just wondering if anyone else has had similar
problems. I am on a lot of medication but dr says none show bruising as side
effect. I do take 81mg of aspirin but he says that's not enough to cause as
many bruses as I have.

I am on :
300mg Welbutrin
150mg Effexor
40mg Zocor
400mg Seroquel
2mg Xanax
4mg Gabitril
40mg Strattera

Any ideas out there? This just started about a week ago....I had this once
before about a year ago but it stopped. Could it be a vitamin defeincy?

Default Bruising and leg pain (heart)

You can play the game
And you can act out the part
But you know it wasn't written for you....
Tell me how can you stand there
With your broken heart
Ashamed of playing the fool....

You can run but you cannot hide
This is why you don't....
What do you plan to do with your foolish pride
When you're all by yourself all alone
Once you tell somebody the way you feel
You can feel it beginning to heal
It's true what they say
About the squeaky wheel always
Getting the grease.....

Shower the people with love with love
Show them the way you feel
Things are going to be much better
If you only will....

This is worth considering.... but maybe you should just ditch all that medicine
and start all over again without any. It might be rough going for awhile. It might
feel like you've left your mind behind. On the other hand, you might just be
surprised how well you can do without it when you let your natural self just
do what it was meant to do.......

Default Bruising and leg pain (aspirin)

Have you ever been tested for Von Willebrands Disease? Doctors rarely
check for or discount it as nothing. A hematologist can do the proper
testing. Many people die from this disease that is very treatable. I have
it and that much aspirin destroys what clotting time I do have. Good Luck.

Default Bruising and leg pain (desipramine)

I just read about a lawsuit involving the death of a juvenile who was
taking desipramine for ADD. He also suffered from leg bruising, with
no one unfortunately able to figure out what was going on before he
died. Desipramine is a norepinephrine selective reuptake inhibitor as
is Strattera. Perhaps there's a connection. Either that, or it very
well could be the damned Zocor. As others have indicated, statins can
be problematic. I agree that it might be good to obtain the
perspective of another doctor. Good luck.
