Default CFS/NMH and the Beach (diet)

This is probably pretty off the wall, but I thought I'd pass this by the
group to see just how insane I might be..

I've noticed over the years that I seem to feel much better when I take
vacations to the ocean. I had never really thought about it before, but
now that I'm on a high salt diet, Florinef, and Thermotabs (salt pills),
I'm wondering if the fresh salt water air has in someway been
beneficial.

Anyone out there have similar experience with the ocean air?

Thanks,
Robert

I do better the more time I spend outside, period. I think the beach feels
so good, for me, because it's so cool and pleasant and usually doesn't get
as hot as inland areas.

Dear Robert,

I also feel this. In fact, so convinced am I of the beneficial effects of
sea air that I am moving to live on the coast!

Yes, when we vacation on the beach, my daughter is always better for the whole week. We live near the beach in northwest fl., its just downtown. So now we have started walking on the beach twice a week. I was told it had something to do with the ions in the salt air.

Has any one seen those lamps that are encased in sea salt and are
supposed to put ions into the air? Any idea if they work? They are
kind of interesting looking.

Sounds like a real expensive way to give some company a hefty profit..
