In fact there is a sentiment that they don't even have a legally
enforcable obligation to intervene in a crime, only an employment
contractural one.

That's one of the reasons you can't sue them any more than you can sue
a bystander that doesn't intervene or report. It's pointless as there
is no law to support it. I could be wrong but I have heard that.

ON the other hand there are SOME mandated reporting laws. This applies
with children. A minor **** is a child. In some states I hear there is
an open description that says anyone who comes into contact with
children routinely in their job, volunteer work or avocation are
obligated.

Gosh, do yah suppose a pizza guy sees any kids?

I do not approve of laws that would REQUIRE reportage for crimes
outside child abuse, but I certainly am disgusted by those that would
NOT do so. Citizens deserve to live in criminal dirt if they are not
willing to do everything legal, including reporting, to clean it up.

As for cops not being everywhere at once as we citizens demand of them
and CPS, well why not? After all there's no constitutional limits on
them, and they certainly could hop, between donut runs, on over and
use the services of the CPS psychics I hear some believe and insist exist.

No problem, bobb bobb. You vastly underestimate citizens, especially
pizza guys. He'll park on the street or end of the driveway and just
honk and make'em send someone out and the citizens will be on to it
and only send the oldest looking kid, or a willing adult. Or the kids
MIGHT get smart and stop showing up at the door with beer in hand, and
foam on their chins.

For an individual who appears at times to think like a criminal you
are terrifically naive about how those that do crime act.

Yah know, bobb bobb, even though I rag on you pretty heavily about
your stupidity among other things, when it comes down to it I honestly
know you are quite bright, and I believe you really do wish to be
helpful.

Has it ever occurred to you to have your circuits checked? You might
have an open breaker. People can have petite mal seizures for years
and years, be unaware of it and even the people around them miss it.
It can manifest externallly as no more than a short spate of blank
staring..and the victim is unaware of it because his wiring didn't
record anything to remember.

Often there are gaps in you thinking, bobb bobb, that are suprising.
Only your friends would tell you. Others might just use it. That is, use you.


Hell, bobb bobb complains about something totally impossible about
twice a week and it dribbles out on his keyboard and sends itself to
us. You are surprised this silliness?

He decided bad parenting by the parent and a suicidal disobedient
third grader were more responsible for school personnel handing the
third greader a bottle of Ritalin to take home and the kid took the
mes...26 of them or so.

If YOU didn't know how doofusly literal minded kids could be (hell
even the comic strips teach that) or just out of it at times, and
especially some 8 year old on Ritalin, how long would you have
survived as a foster parent?

This one, bobb bobb, has a number of strange notions. Let nothing
surprise you. He is Dug trained, after all.

I really loved that one. Society passes laws. Society subsidizes the
enforcement of said laws. Twitbutts complain.

It appears to be bobb is that friend that every criminal should and
often does cultivate: The helpful fool.

It's not the "most reasonable" that are a concern. It's getting MORE
people to try out being responsible. Who knows, after an incentive
experience they may come to figure out why it's so important we all do
what we can to lower crime for our and societies benefit. I do it
because I have kids who have to live in society. Selfish me.

Have you checked the Radon levels? It might not even be safe there. If
they are high I know where you can find a tinfoil hat to protect you.
bobb bobb gets his from greegor who has found there actually IS a
career path after sabbatical.

He can watch tv from the couch, take his breaks by diddling the
keyboard, and make a lot of hats. His drooling problem hardly will
matter. bobb bobb probably doesn't notice drool. After all he misses
the concept of public school and en loco parentis.
