Default DNA Fragmentation and IVF (sperm)

We have been trying to have a baby for 2 years, and no luck.
My husband has DNA fragmentation in Sperm (30% of sperm fragmented). His
sperm
count and mobility are OK.
We want to go for IVF.
Anybody have similar experience and success or failure?
We read an article that saying we have only 1% success with this
cir***stance. Is that true?

Thanks
Hannah

Welcome to the group Hannah. Unfortunately, I don't know anything
about DNA fragmentation, but with IVF I think its possible to pick out
the "good" sperm if you do ICSI (intracytoplasmic sperm injection--
basically they manually fertilize the eggs). This might be a good way
to get around the problems with your DH's sperm. Success rates depend
on lots of things-- your age, your clinic, the protocol, etc. You
should talk to your RE about your best options for success. Good luck!
