Hey, I think Forrest Gump was a pretty smart guy! Great movie.

Hang in there, Russ, you'll be through this before you know it, and looking
back on your treatment as the greatest adventure you've ever been on. A seat

I took the IQ test too. 126 with emphasis on math and depth perception
skills. I prefer my Paris Island M-14 236 qual score. Makes me feel better.

my m16-1a qual at edson rifle range (pendleton) was 248.

hey, instead of doing brainfog tests i vote we all meet in austin at the u
of texas campus and do some target practice from the tower. we can call it
the 1s annual riba rage turkey shootout. oops, i forgot. that subject is off
limits (so is the observation deck now).

Geb i can't even remember now. i know we fired from 100m, 250m and 500m.
doing sitting, kneeling, prone and standing. i'm thinking 500m was all
prone. mostly slow fire but some rapid. total of 50 rounds, all 5's making a
perfect score of 250. so at 236 or 248 those are a hell of lot of 5's with a
few fours.

i qualified at edson one year. the pmi was spotting me. i think i was at the
250m line. as i'm sighting in when this big buzzard come floating above my
target. i got a wild hair and squeezed off a round. the pmi says, "miss.....
hit! don't pull that shit again!" as black feathers floating softly to the
earth. ;-) he gave me a five for it!
