Not only that Hubbard made it up to make money because religions are
not taxed. He achieved his goals many times over, I remember the early
ads in the SF magazines for Dianetics and the discussion by all who were
acquainted with Mr,Hubbard. It is a hash of psycho****ysis using
detectors to register sensitive matters to discuss and encourage anxiety
about. The anti-drug stuff is because a lot of the people involved
would have problems with drugs and because others would have no use
for the so-called religion if their conditions were treated with the
correct medications.

Every time a Scientological missionary approaches me I go into my
Zen-Taoist missionary stance and they leave me alone so maybe my
enlightenment is not the perfect enlightenment since it gets rid of the
silly Scientologists for me.

Now that Hubbard is gone I wonder if anyone is at the helm of the Org.
