Dr Te in NYC Too Busy To Talk On Phone With Patients Seeking PVP Advice
The telephone is satisfactory only for making an appointment with Dr.
Te, for he is too occupied with patients in his office to hold
telephone conversations. I understand that he will not do it. Having
been there several time, I can see why. Moreover, if you are not a New
Yorker (NYC, that is) accustomed to their rapid telephone exchanges,
the experience can be off-putting.
I highly recommend an appointment with Dr. Te. Meeting him should
remove all doubts that you are in the hands of a great physician. I
have been in his office for five times over the past 14 months, all in
preparation for the PVP. (I have an exceedingly large prostate and have
been on Avodart and Flomax to reduce its size; I am presently scheduled
for the PVP early in December.)
Most impressive of my appointments with Dr. Te was the time that Amtrak
arrived in NYC three hours late and it was 4:35 when I got to the
office. Everyone had gone, the door was locked. I found Dr. Te down the
hall, and although he was expected at a meeting at the time, he
returned to his office to check me out with a flow test and an
ultrasound. Now that's attentive medicine!
