Default Elmo, please shoot me! (itching)

I will pay for your airfare if you come here and put a bullet in my head!
The stabbing pains in my feet and toes have set off some kind of chain
reaction in my nervous system and I am now itching all over. I don't have
enough arms to scratch with and the itching just moves from one place to
another as soon as I scratch! If this is what post-tx is like, then I am
tempted to march straight to the fridge and prepare another shot!

Arrrrgh!

Default Elmo, please shoot me! (benadryl scratching withdrawal)

How about a good scratching instead of the bullet, Lana. Who was it who
said there weren't any withdrawal symptoms from tx ? LOL. (quit
scratching, you're gonna make yourself bleed!) You have any benadryl?
It should be there in your medicine cabinet somewhere, maybe back behind
the antiemetics or pain pills. LOL Get better, would ya? Elmo

Benadryl is what RN has recommended for me as well.

Well, I'd happily visit France to put you out of your misery, but my sweetie
won't let me have my guns back yet. He says, "We'll wait for a while..."

Hm. I *thought* I was back to normal.

Default Elmo, please shoot me! (pimples itching diazepam)

Lana/ Geb/WS/Me
This post-treatment is a bitch, isn't it? The itching is pretty bad for me
also.
I fired up the humidifier yesterday morning, and slept with it on in the
bedroom
last night. It appears to be helping my dry skin. I was also given
antibiotics from the doc for my boils and assorted other pimples that
conveniently showed up this past week.

I know the weather in western Europe has been miserable...any chance that
increasing the humidity your home might give you some relief?

I've had that internal itching off and on- mostly in the middle of the
night- it is awful , so I take a diazepam and sleep through it. Like you all
said, it must be
withdrawals......
I have RLS also, but I'd be surprised if that ever goes away. ......hope
yours
does, Lana......

Ha-ha-ha! Nice one!

Did you hear about the Air France co-pilot who was arrested in New York
because while being searched, he joked that he had a bomb in his shoe?
Another victim of Homeland Security's "zero tolerance" policy, who could get
as much as 11 years jail time! I wonder how much a kid with a water pistol
would get...

So upon reflection, perhaps you'd better not pack the guns. When you get
here, you could just pummel me to death with a rock.

Well now--I'm relieved to know I'm not the only freak here having a tough
time with this.

My itching isn't a dry skin thing, it's a nervous system thing as far as I
can tell and I'm guessing it's a referred thing from the pain. The restless
leg syndrome could be related, but it's also one of the symptoms of anaemia,
so there's a chance it'll go away when that clears up.

Did you have RLS before tx?

Default Elmo, please shoot me! (nail down)

I thought I stepped on a nail, sliver or glass or something. I got down
on the floor and shined a flashlight on the bottom of my foot to try to
find it. Nothing there. Limped around for about 15 minutes muttering
"now what" and it was gone.
