Default Enlarged Liver (diabetes renal neuropathy ultrasound carcinoma)

I just received a report from a recent ultra sound, indicating a modestly
enlarged liver. 16 cm. in height, was the measurement given.

I have a history of Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, stage 3, reoccurring and renal
cell carcinoma. Also 16 years type 2 diabetes. I am 61, years of age and not
much of a drinker. Have been diagnosed with a small polyp 8 mm. in the
gallbladder. I have for some time experienced an unusual amount of gas,
which lingers for hours causing distention and discomfort.

My question is, could the discomfort, be due to autonomic neuropathy or is
the enlarged liver a potential problem relating to the lymphoma? No lesions
were found in the ultrasound.

Your in put would be appreciated.

Sincerely,

Ed. Plitt

Default Enlarged Liver (kidney cholesterol cancer bile gallbladder)

Ed,
According to Google your polyp seems to be growing
<http://groups.google.com/groups?q=author:encplitt%40whidbey.ney&hl=en&lr=&i e=UTF-8&scoring=d&filter=0>

Anyone with a history of kidney cancer and digestive symptoms, in my opinion,
should not be drinking at all.
That would take one variable out of the loop to see if the signs and symptoms
improve.
Everyone that I know, who has liver inflammation, steers away from drinking and
takes extra dietary care.

Earlier you mentioned "cholesterol type of polyp"
Cholesterol has something to do with diet and the liver. (and the gallbladder is
tied to the liver)..bile etc.
So maybe talk to your doctor about seeing a nutrition specialist who can work
with you on these issues.
Work with your doctor Ed, because it's way too complicated for us (me anyway),
although might be easily correctable.
Hope so.
Best,
J - not a doctor
