enough already (stroke down)
We've been having them too, though probably not as bad since the storm activity
tends to mitigate when its parent wave of energy passes over the Appalachian
Mountains. But his afternoon a storm cell roared through and the trees went
horizontal. I disconnected my modem, waited it out for a half hour before
plugging it back in. Then just as I was back online....BAM!!!! Major
cloud-to-ground lightning stroke about a quarter mile away. Had to shut
everything down again! That strike set off about 3 car alarms in the apartment
parking lot, and they shrieked away unsynchronized with one another like 3rd
graders trying to sing a round of "Row Row Row Your Boat." Very entertaining.
The storm wasn't so bad right where I am though. Just north of here a tornado
touched down, and lots of microburst wind damage elsewhere in the area. And
yep, I know the feeling, Warlock. More severe storms are expected tomorrow as
well!
Wait a minute....I'm having a blonde moment. Didn't I just read in a post the
other day that you gave your kitties away?
