Hi all,

I'm posting this on the behalf of my sister. She had a mammogram
recently and was notified to return for a compresson one. My sister
wanted to know:

What's involved with this procedure?

Why is this procedure necessary?

What problems this procedure create?

What to ask the doctor about on this procedure?

This is maybe too specialized for this forum. So if someone can
direct me (and her) to a forum on breast cancer and mammograms would
be welcomed.

A regular mammogram compresses (as Steph mentioned).
