Default Got advice here, MAJOR improvement (down headache eye sinus infection)

Hi,

I just wanted to pass along the fact that 3 weeks ago I was contemplating a
trip to the ER. My sinus infection was causing a horrible, horrible
headache, so painful I could barely stand. In my desperation I logged on
here and read that someone had some luck with probiotics and yogurt. I
headed straight for the fridge and gobbled down the first container of
yogurt I could find.

A half hour later my headache was about 50% improved. I then headed out to
a health food store, talked with the consultant in the supplements section
and returned home with a jar of Solaray Yeast Cleanse and Jarro acidophilus.
The next day my headache was gone!

I'd had some unexplained twitching in my left eye for about 2 weeks; it was
gone, too. My vision cleared up and I've felt great ever since. I even
smell things more keenly, too. I didn't even know I had diminished smelling
abilities!

As a matter of history, I've had chronic sinus infections for many years,
increasing to the point of having one about every other month. I've done
steroid shots, antibiotics, Flonase, Sinofresh and recently had a CAT scan.
I was at my wits end and was willing to try absolutely anything.

I feel a little funny being a walking commercial for probiotics but I want
everyone to know that this is a true, honest testimonial for maintaining
proper yeast levels rather than resorting to surgery (which would have been
my next step) or suffering. Yes, my experience won't work for everyone but
my improvement was so immediate and so dramatic I want to share it with
everyone.

So if anything, try some yogurt. If you feel an improvement, try a yeast
cleanse which will help kill off some of the excees yeast in your system.
There are many good brands out there but Solaray was reported to give the
most "bang for the buck." Then you can follow up with the probiotic of your
choice or simply eat yogurt every day. I know there are diets that folks
follow as well but I haven't made any changes to my diet (yet).

I hope this helps someone out there and I wish you all good health!

Sean

Are you associated with Solaray or were you compensated by them for this post?

I cannot find any prior post from you ever, to any newsgroup.

What exactly did the "consultant" tell you to convince you to purchase
these two products?

Don,

he mentioned but 'Solaray' Yeast Cleanse and 'Jarro' acidophilus.
these are two different manufacturers.

highly unlikely he's associated with Solaray.

seems like possibly you have a bug up your ass about using anything
except pharamaceuticals prescribed by the standard healthcare
industry?

I agree with you that Don's ad hominem attack on this guy was uncalled for.

There are plenty of people out there who try these "alternative"
remedies and think they're instantly cured. They're not liars; they
honestly believe that.

What is at issue, is whether the perceived improvement in one's symptoms
is due to the remedy or to something else. That's why I asked the
question I did. Let's see if I get an answer.

unless of course they have a distributor in common.

I just asked the question. If he replies no,, then it only reinforces his
point, which is fine with me. Perhaps we can have a good dialog with him......

He doesn't say he posted, which would come up in a search. Just reading
the posts wouldn't show up. As we all know there is a poster that
advocates a strong yeast/sinus/yogurt connection and that is likely what
he read about. If it worked for him, great...wish it was that easy for
some of us. I do question a salesclerk in a health food store being called
a "consultant" like it is a professional position but ah well, maybe that
is what they are called where he lives. Trudy.

Default Got advice here, MAJOR improvement (bacteria stomach nasal)

Hello,
I cannot believe this (none other than Don Brady):
One of the biggest spammers in this news group, who tells everyone
to plunge all the bacteria and fungus in the nasal passage up into
their brain with that dangerous irrigator that cannot be sterilized.
Or am i thinking about someone else in this news group?
I donot know about acidophilus in a bottle, however i do know
he is right-on about the yogurt. So if you purchase the products
he wants you to try, and eat your yogurt, his products will surely
seem to work? It sounds as if he is dealing with systemic
fungus, which actually we all are . . . I will label-read his
product, however i am having fantastic success with AZO's
"Yeast", and it is cheaper than Health-Food Store stuff.
AZO is using herbs along with lactobacillus sporogenes
and other stuff. It is extremely strong, and you may get an
unpleasant reaction to it for just a few minutes; after that
it is quite mild.
Check this out:
http://www.wellvet.com/spogogenes.html
My problem is that i am using Lotramine and now other things,
along with my fungus killing "cocktail", which i think may be
making me upset now . . . - it seems to be burning a hole in
my stomach or something - i am using it less and less . . .
We just have to hang-in-there until the Medical World and
Corporate Society catches up with us. Iwill tell you one
thing fur shure they are definitely watching this group!!!!!
So letus all keep up the good work, guys.

You must be thinking of someone else.

I myself do not use irrigation, although I have mentioned irrigation on
occasion since it seems to work for many.
