Don't worry. I was just whining a bit. It really wasn't that bad. I don't think the preps for colonoscopies are that bad
either. I had one a little over a month ago with 4 litres of Colyte. It was a little difficult at first but I managed to
drink 3 litres of it. My first colonoscopy a few years ago was with sodium phosphate as a prep. After hearing bad things
about it I thought it would be really tuff but it ended up being quite easy for me. I'm not sure if the fecal
calprotectin test is available here in Canada.

I started the test on Sunday (I worked overtime Saturday). For me I have always had less BM's on my days off. Maybe it's
a reflection of what I think of my job LOL. Actually my UC symptoms have slowly been improving over the last 8 months. I
don't think my latest diet had much to do with it.

I had two bacon wrapped filet mignon steaks grilled on the gas barbeque for dinner today. They were delicious.

Yeah, well, I forgot, I was scheduled for an abdominal CT scan Monday.
No biggie, of course. Except that I always have trouble passing the
barium, not swallowing it, passing it. So ... haven't had our T-bones
yet. Saving them for AFTER passing the barium. Takes daily doses of
MOM to do so despite all the liquids I drink. I wanna make sure I have
the appetite and the ROOM to eat all that T-bone!

Why do you keep signing up for all these many different kinds of
tests? Is it interesting to you? Generally, the results don't change
the kind or amount of medication you would take, since there are
presently only a few IBD drugs and very few dosage choices. These
kinds of tests are more valuable if there is a specific surgical
question that needs answering (e.g., about an abscess or hemorrhage or
complicated anatomy). But your IBD sounds so uncritical, so
run-of-the-mill.... It's not like some sneaky, fast-moving cancer.
