I am sick of being on psychiatric meds. I am on wellbutrin,lamactil,
prozac, respiradol, klonipan,aderall
I have lost my personality since being on them. I was better off
without them.
Will I get sick if I quit cold turkey.

I do not advise to get off drugs cold-turkey. Discuss thi with a
dotor. I agree dugs do not treat the underlying cuase of depressionb,
but simply mask the symptoms.

Ask your doctor to be referred to a Nutritional Doctor or a Clinical
Nutritionist.

Not exactly sure what your "official diagnosis" is but you are on
quite a heavy and sedating cocktail. I have taken all of the same
medications except wellbutrin and they have made me very sick at
times, depending on the combination of drugs. I have been on meds for
8 years now and have quit cold turkey before. I can tell you from
experience it is NOT a safe way to stop. You will most likely get
sick. I developed a seizure disorder after stopping cold turkey.
Consult your doctor first. And I agree with the other person's post.
Nutrition makes a world of difference in mood, as does exercise. I
have found a good combination and have been feeling really great. Hope
is out there. Good luck and keep your head up.
