Default I have a ques.... (depression)

Hello everyone.I take parnate and have for over 2 years now.I have
been on every ssri and just about every anti depressannt in general.

I find no other effective,in fact MOST have been counter productive
and made me worse.Even nardil its cousin did not provide the relief
parnate does,so i am going to stay on it because it does elimnate my
depression and works the same every time,i can count on its effects.

SIDE EFFECTS howver have and still remain a problem. At an effective
dose of 40-60 mg min,i expererieance insomnia,mild anxiety,some mania
and ocd like behaviour,a go go go feeling.

I have tried almost EVERYTHING to augment rangine from
benzos(klonopin/xanax-to gaba agents(nuerontin/gabaitril/lamictal/ to
minor anti-pyhscotics(thorazine)

Nothing has really worked, either the agent is to strong and ruins
parnates effectiness,or it doesnt go well with parnate and i get a
really wierd uncomfortable feeling.

Main question, one in which the reason im wirting is this,im consdering
seraquel with parnate, anyone try this or think it might work. Please id
rather comments on this in particular rather than additional
suggestion on other agents,thanks you.

Default I have a ques.... (serotonin)

-Seroquel tends to boost SSRI, SNRIs as well as other types of
antidepressants because it boosts serotonin a bit. It doesn't just
block dopamine reuptake like Haldol and the neuroleptics. You
mentionned Thorazine (largactil). This is a very potent and toxic
delta-blockant neuroleptic that should NEVER be taken for an extended
period. In general, when all antidepressant fails, neuroleptics are the
best bet. Seroquel is a good idea, as it is both a moderate
delta-blockant and weak SSRI (potentially SNRI, I'm not sure). I take
seroquel with a low dose of Serzone and this works A+ with no serious
side effects. Have been on the same regimen for years and it doesn't
poop out. I'd avoid taking too many different medications at the time,
its bad for the system.
