Default I'm Back (grieving)

I understand... I'm in the same situation myself. (How nice that you work
in a place that allows pets to visit, by the way.)

Incidentally, please don't think that I was saying you *should* get a pet!
I was just mentioning some of the ways in which they can be supportive
companions to grieving or lonely people.

Best wishes,

Gert

We each have our own owies(except I figure ours(all of us here) are the BIG
more hurtable kind that no bandaides can cover or heal)
The pain may dull over time but the missing part is still tortureous!...Jo

Oh, I agree. I'm thinking of a hamster- my apartment can handle that.

Pets can't replace people... but they are great at being animals,
and so very skilled at showing us how to be in the present moment........
..........
I couldn't begin to tell you the number of times I had hugged my big dogs and
cried, a pet gives comfort sometimes even when a human can't, besides, pets
won't tell you to stop crying/grieiving and/ or will judge you...Jo
