Internet Support for Depression (depression)
Dear Newsgroup User,
If you are 18 years or older, we would like to invite YOU to
participate in a research project about the effectiveness of support
groups on the Internet that is used to receive support for depression
and/or other negative moods.
- Online questionnaires
- Completely anonymous
- Optional immediate feedback
- You would be helping to improve Internet support groups for the
With your participation you are contributing to research findings that
may improve the support groups on the Internet in the future.
If you choose to participate you will be asked to complete a set of
online questionnaires asking about the support group(s) you are
participating in and if you have any feelings of depression. Certain
questionnaires can provide you with immediate feedback that may offer
insights into your mental health, but only if you would like to
receive such feedback.

Internet Support for Depression
I filled out this survey, particularly since it is Australian (University of
Sydney.) There is nothing in it that could be regarded as intrusive or
