just freaking great
the reason i was asking about who called the hotline is that the new hippa
laws passed in april of this year now prohibits discussing a lot of things
with anyone other than the patient. we run into this a lot where Strelsa
will call people for me and i end up having to talk to them instead. they
will discuss some things about me with her, but only in vague generalities.
Bill Keller was a name someone here gave me who had lived in philly up until
last year. he had a similar situation as and his staff helped him he said.
the biggest cost in the tx is the meds. have Katy call Schering's Patient
Assistance Program at 1-800-656-9485. she may qualify for help from them.
supposedly, roche has a similar program, but i'm still waiting for the info
on that. maybe someone here knows their number. http://www.pafp.com/HepC/
one last thought i had. if all else fails, tell Katy to tell whoever trys to
turn her away from getting help, if they don't cease and desist the ****
rententive behavior towards her, heppers from all over the world are going
to descend on their office and throw a huge riba raging fit right on their
shiny buerocratic desk. i know can't think of anything else i'd rather do
:-)
