Default Mets vs Primary (prognosis colon cancer tumor adenocarcinoma)

Im afraid I'm going to have to start a meaningful thread.

My brother recently had his sigmoid colon removed owing to a 4 cm
adenocarcinoma. The tumor has metastisized to his liver. 1 out of 38
nodes removed from the IAM pedicle were positive. Multiple masses were
noted in the liver but was sufficiently intact to place a chemo pump.

The question is....What is the difference in prognosis of primary
liver cancer vs. Mets TO the liver.

Yes Ive been begging him to see somebody for 6 months.

Default Mets vs Primary (prognosis colonoscopy)

I'm sorry to say that the prognosis is very poor in either case. If he
responds to the intrahepatic infusion, it could buy him as much as a year in
this situation. Maybe more.

You should have a colonoscopy. Soon.
