Hi Jason About 8 years ago I finally applied for disability after living a
nightmare of trying to work and having migraines and/or headaches almost
everyday. I live in Vancouver and applied through my union. I went to each
of the doctors (5) that I had seen over the previous 10 years and asked for
copies of my chart. I did this myself rather than wait for the mail. Not
one refused to give me the information. My first application they rejected.
But I immediately reapplied and was finally accepted. I think you have to
be willing to perservere because it can take months and months before you
get anywhere. The best of luck Jean
