Mom, you already are doing it. you're helping Katie and all of us. the site
where this comes from is written by a dentist who has the bottom ump****
illnesses below aids. he's written a book about how "unfair" the funding is.
he wants us to buy his book. don't feed him. you'll have to set another
plate at the dinner table if you do. ;-)

Al scribbled these tid bits

I am not so sure being preventable is of any importance. Do you think
those that died are somehow less dead? And do you think a kid like Jaun
Dixon somehow missed his fater and mother less? Jaun Dixon is a kid who
lost both mother and father to aids. They were both adicts. With the help
of his extended family he stepped up and now is in the NBA after winning
the NCAA championship with the UMD Terps. Before each foul shot this
kid puts his right hand over his heart where a tattoo of his mother
resides.

My point here is dead is dead and while we can do things to keep from
getting many diseases like T2 diabetes and heart disease we don't always
do those things. That does not mean we deserve to die either. If you get
full blown AIDS you will die from it. Not so with the diseases you
mentioned.

Aids research has only succeeded in prolonging the life of HIV the infected.
This has resulted in a rapid increase in the spread of aids because the
infected simply live longer to infect more victims.

Don't give me that BS about "responsible" HIV infected individuals. For
every "responsible" HIV infected male, there are two others that aren't. The
*** urge is simply too strong in the human male and will not be denied.
Nothing short of incarceration (or surgery) will stop the male *** urge.

Then there are those that get bitter because they are infected, and make it
their goal in life to infect as many others as possible. There are dozens of
do***ented cases of this. There is one well do***ented case of a female
infected by an African American male, she was so bitter that she
deliberately infected 27 other AA males (that we know of) at one US Army
base.

If the government had opted for quarantine when aids first broke out in the
US, the rest of the world might have followed suit. Frankly, it's too late
now. No amount of research money will ever stop the spread. Aids, like the
common cold, will plague the human race until the end time. Aids will
probably play a large part in the end time for the human race.

Alan, was this all in your honest opinion?

So, your solution is to just let the "guilty" die off as payment for their
sins?

Geez.......

what???????????

having had the unfortunate "opportunity" to have had 9 units of blood during
the "we don't have a test" for AIDS or HIV era.... i CERTAINLY was scared
spitless of the potential to contract either disease

don't go saying that the disease is preventable!!! not when your very life
depends on receiving that blood

sigh

Oldspook scribbled these tid bits

No guns would prevent 100% of all shooting deaths.

Neither is realistic

Its funny how older folks always preach not having ***. I wonder if that
was their plan at the age of 20?

When I had heart surgery and required a lot of blood, one
concern was the risk involved.
*** has always been avery effective method of transferring delicate
disease organisms. I was told that the syphilis organism is
killed on exposure to air. Even today the only
way to avoid the spread of ***ual diseases is to avoid
cross linked ***ual contacts. Even now there is
several epidemics of "junk" infections and itchy
bugs. The long term consequences will not be know
for years. We are in an age of indulgence. The
laws for natural selection are working now and will
work forever. For males it is said "when the brains
drop to the lower parts trouble is brewing". This
is not new but a long term problems.
I am only the messenger. :-)
Guy

My latest take is the AIDS virus mutates easily.
May be as persistent as the flu.

If I get down and cry and kick will it help get more
research money for diabetes.

Today, the risk for HIV is one in 675,000 units of blood; the risk for HCV
is one in 100,000 units. Currently, there are three FDA-licensed tests for
HIV that each blood center must perform on each unit of collected blood.

Your chances of getting aids from blood is .0001481%.

The chances of getting aids from promiscuous *** are infinitely higher.
