Hello folks--

I just wanted to say *hello again* and *goodbye* to my newsgroup
acquaintences this evening--I'll be leaving in the morning for Athens and
the Olympics--I'll be seeing mostly Track & Field in the coming week, but
also some other events, such as volleyball and beach volleyball, rhymthic
gymnastics, men's platform diving and basketball. I'm not looking forward
to the plane trip (I only fly when I absolutely have to), and I'm also
hoping that the Games remain as safe as they appear they are.

I'll be back around dinnertime on the 31st--and the next day I'll be
starting Radiography school at a local hospital--so I've also been busy the
last couple of weeks catching up on shopping, errands and home repairs
before my schedule gets much more constrained than I've been used to in
quite some time.

In any case, I'm sure I'll have lots to tell when I get home, both about the
competition and about my first visit to Greece!
