My dog is on Rimadyl and doing very well on it WRT pain level.

but her tummy is obviously upset as she is always hungry and has
become "room-clearing" at times.

Anyone familiar with this drug, Metacam?

I've done on-line reading and know the particulars - what I really
want to know is if you've had experience *using* this with your pet.

Metacam aka Mobic

Etodolac aka Lodine is easier on the stomach and cheaper than Rimadyl.

I currently use buffered aspirin and etodolac (not together). Dogs can take
tums too. My labrador was on tums for a while
