To clear the ReadOnly attribute: 1) Right click the file. 2) Select "Properties". 3) Uncheck the "Read-only" checkbox. 4) Click OK. If all your files are in one directory tree, you can do it in one operation by selecting the top-most directory in the directory tree, and following steps 1-3 above. If there are sub-directories in the directory tree, Windows will put up another window that asks if you want the change to apply only to the files or both the files and sub-directories.
