I had taken myself off Paxil about a week ago (had been taking 20mg) and
experienced no side effects except nightmares. Then I came on this forum
yesterday, read all the warnings against abrupt withdrawal, and took a half one
last night. To my amazement, this morning my vision is blurry. It had been so
for some time but now I realize it hadn't been blurry when I was off of it. I
will continue the half tablet for two weeks, then 1/4, and then stop. I wonder
how many people have side effects that they aren't even aware of, like me.

Paxil has some mild anticholingeric effects, one of which is blurred vision.
Others would be dry mouth and contstipation.
