Can someone tell me what the difference of primary infertility is to
secondary infertility? I'm looking for a group concerning premature
ovarian failure, and wasn't sure where that fell in the primary or
secondary category.
Thanks,
Leslie

Question
The difference between primary and secondary is whether or not you have
given birth to a child. If you have not, you are primary.

Question (infertility)
Primary=never given birth
Secondary=infertility after already having one or more children
POF could apply to either group, so it's not the diagnosis that makes the
difference, just if you've had biological child(ren) already.
alt.infertility just posted the FAQs that IIRC explain the different groups
and their purpose.
Hope that helps,
Amy

Question
Hi Leslie Primary is not having any living biological children.
Secondary, is you have children all ready that you gave birth to.
Good luck and I hope you find the group youre looking for!
