Relapse Length Question (down)
Personally I would have gotton on NOvantrone as soon as possible. My second
relapse royally ****ed. Took my entire right half from me. And my mouth...
not to mention my bits-n-pieces. I would say I was down and out for around
9 months before I could really get around. It was a ****y time for me. But
today, several years later, you wouldnt guess that I had anything wrong with
me. It just took time. I ate a lot of salmon, did movement exercises,
tried the best I could to do what I could. But Im not sure that some of the
things really helped. I had to relearn how to type though. That pissed me
off because i was really good. Now Im fast but deadly. Instead of
I used to sit on the bed and just swing my legs back and forth for exercise.
Brushing my teeth was an exercise. Not kidding. Shaving. etc. I turned a
lot of little things that I needed to re-incorporate back into my life...
into exercises. Combing my hair, showering, (took several big spills doing
that) etc. I just tried to add as much as I could handle... when I could
handle it. But I dont know if that was responsible for it, or if it was
just the natural course of the disease. But my relapse lasted a loooong
time. Im still improving though. (knock on wood)
