RESECTION AND TEMP COLOSTOMY (colostomy)

Has anyone had a resection involving a temporary colostomy, and then a
re-connection?

If you did, is the reversal surgery as draining as the resection surgery, and
is the recovery period about the same?

I am worried about so much time off work (two surgeries).

hi not sure whos asking the question here but
i had resection after removel of fistula from bowel to bladder
i had temp ileostomy for 1 year, infact i had reversed just this july
be prepared and be patient the recovery time from the rconnection is still
ongoing for me but then we are all different, plus i have had probs with an
infection of the wound where my stoma was.
