Hi!
I'm not sure if my doctor tells all patients this, or if it is just me
because she knows my crohns,but she says it is unnecessary to do the
"bowel prep" prior to the SBFT tests. She told me when I go for the
tests and radiology asks, tell them "Yes, I've done it" I always tell
them I've done it and it's never been a problem. I've never done the
bowel prep (Trust me, I'm NOT complaining) and am wondering is it
really necessary? Does anyone else's doctor tell them the same thing?

Usually just not eating after midnight though my dr has made exceptions for
me at times. UM MOM Susan

All I have to do for a SBFT is no ffod after midnight the night before.
Easy as pie! No prep at all.
