I self diagnosed myself for having shingles. I have a half dollar size area of
small blisters just below my ribs on my left side. The blisters have crusted
over and I figured it will start going away. But......... now I'm starting to
have another half dollar size area of raised papules on my left waistline. Is
this normal, to have more than one area affected? Especially after the other
area has already started to heal? I have not been in much pain other that
slight aching and a few pinching like pains in my side. Any information would
be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Jazzy,

What I had thought to be shingles ( a half dollar size area on my shoulder)
turned out to be simplex. You should go to your dr for confirmation. Are
you on meds?

Ihave justed been dianosed with shingles have them in obviosly the same
area as you, Have been put on Valtex Tablets however, I feel terrible
allover fevers chills headaches malaise no ent to feelinglike S...t . Have
got itches on the scalp as well......Good Luk with yours!!! Paul NT
