i found my congressman and called his office. they faxed me a form giving
them permission to look into my case (it's been over 13 months to see an
ALJ, with no appt in sight) .

i faxed it right back to them, along with my letter from Vo-Rehab stating my
condition is too severe to receive services from them.

keep the fingers crossed that some fires get lit underneath some umm, eer,
umm chairs! ya that's it chairs <weg>

On your signature line, would that include tenacity? Is that the same as
persistance? I tenacity is a good thing too. Hope you hear from disability
soon. It takes so dang long ... its hurry up and wait and wait and wait.
Get frustrating too when you keep calling and there is nothing for them to
report and they will not push things along. I finally broke down on the
phone and then she got the ball rolling. She realized I was depressed in
addition to all this and pushed it through on the depression. Later they
added the fibro, RA and everything else. Its a rough road lampy. Hang in
there. It is worth it in the end. I wanted to do the Voc rehab thing too
but realized I am not a dependable employee at this point in my life. Who'd
want me?

Thanx Zhom-meister :-) i went to the website, and it says he can help right
