Testing for heavy metals.
Dear all,
There has been some recent discussion of heavy metals. There are many
possible testing methods. The gold standard, although not perfect, used
by the American Board of Clinical Metal Toxicology
<http://www.abct.info/> is provocation testing. Meaning a person is
'provoked' with a chelating agent (oral or IV) and excretion is measured
in urine or feces. Unless you have had this test done you can not be
reasonably certain you do not have heavy metals.
http://www.doctorsdata.com/ and http://www.gsdl.com/ are good Labs in
North America.
