Madison, Wisconsin - At the end of "Day One" of the trial
(cross-examination) of top "quackbuster" Robert S. Baratz MD, DDS, PhD, the
Judge called in the attorneys for a short meeting. In essence he said
"Enough is enough. This has gone on too long. There's no reason to go on
with this farce. I want the defense to wrap up their cross-examination by
11:00am, the prosecutor to finish re-direct by 12:00 noon, and after lunch
we're going to settle this case."

The quackbuster's last assault, the attack against Green Bay Physician
Eleazar Kadile MD, their last attempt at glory, has been stopped DEAD in
it's tracks. All that's left is the settlement agreement, and the
punishment that's going to be exacted on the perpetrators.

Today, for "Day Three," the Judge has asked the Defense team to present an
offer to settle the case. The beginnings of an offer will be presented.
The final offer will take a little longer, because of the sheer volume of
people that need to be consulted across the United States. The Kadile case
has attracted the interest, and the funding, of consumer groups,
leading-edge health care groups, legislators, news media, and citizens
world-wide. The decision was made to take the case to the end - no
compromise. Win.

And, the quackbusters weren't up for that.

Ba*****t based Stephen Barrett, a failed MD who operates "quackwatch.com,"
had sent his best soldier, Bobbie Baratz, to Wisconsin to do battle.
Wisconsinites, and indeed all of the world, have had the pleasure of
watching Bobbie get chewed up, and spit out.

The Wisconsin Department of Regulation & Licensing (DORL) hearing room,
during the first day, was jam packed. And, it wasn't just angry citizens.
Top management from DORL was there. An Assemblyman was there. Aides to
Senators and Assemblymen were there. The Press was there...

The Defense legal team, made up of Frank Recker and Cynthia Hubbard of
Florida, and Ray Roeder of Wisconsin, was superb. The prosecutor, Arthur
Thexton, was a blithering, smirking, village idiot - one who has finally
realized that his position with the State of Wisconsin, is now in question.

Why is Arthur Thexton threatened? Simple. Because it has finally dawned on
upper management at DORL that Thexton has, and will have, by my
calculations, paid Baratz "expert witness" fees in an amount equal to a
total of ALL other "expert witness" fees paid, in ALL other DORL actions in
ALL licensing classifications, for a period of about three years.

Good job, Arty...

Thexton, it appears, has expended $100,000 dollars of Wisconsin State funds
on Baratz to date - and the trial is FAR from over. Baratz has only, just
now, been cross-examined on his CREDIBILITY. The Defense has enough
material to cross-examine Baratz on his "medical/scientific testimony - and
so-called expertise" for FIF**** full days - and intends to do exactly that.
Top experts from around the United States have been examining Baratz's
statements in this case line-by-line.

Unlike Baratz, those examining his statements, have REAL University
affiliations, REALLY are Board Certified as experts by their peers, and
REALLY have been published in peer reviewed journals on relevant issues.

And then, we begin the Defense portion of the case. The we press for a
legislative investigation of the Baratz/Thexton relationship. Then we
present to the Medical Board itself. Then we sue Baratz and Thexton, etc.
The fun has just begun.

This person spamming this group under various names is hereby
dubbed "The Recycler" for recycling the same posts over years and
years with the same discredited names Tim Bolen scamming shyster ,
$cientology , Bauman, Breggin and the few "hip" names used over and
over - Loren Mosher used by $scientology for his credentials who by
the way , never believed in the drug models even before serious
reserach was done with them and was described as a well-meaning
outcast , into Szasz when he was hip in the 1960's.
The sad thing is , one should use drugs sparingly --- a good
point because the biological model is far from proven and in the case
of schizophrenia , problematical because the side effects are very
severe. The only thing that may justify their use is that the effects
of the "disorder" may even be more severe and disabling. Additionally
more research should be done along the lines of Moshers thinking but
taking the even flimsier "evidence" - a study here , a dissenting
writer there and creating cults of personality and acting like
Jehovahs witnesses trying to force people into your way of thought,
spreading the gospel and in league with various unsavory kooks who
use the ideas for their own ends ---- $cientologists , low IQ
alternative health nuts who want to sell bogus products for big $$,
misfit dropouts who think they are important people on a grandiose
crusade.................... doesnt give Mosher any crediblity at all.

If you read his bio , he never believed in it , at a time when people
took alot of discredited talk therapy seriously and despite the
fascistic shrill anti-med rhetoric, he actually used drugs though
sparingly on some of his patients. He certaintly didnt think they were
useless though he was highly critical of their use.

You can see the level of these people when they only espouse verbatim
like they are zombies , the same names and idea --- spam groups and
viciously attack anyone who they identify as obstacles in spreading
the word.

Chronic or Excessive Paxil eating
Chronic or excessive Paxil eating is a very common problem in domesticated
female psychiatric patients. This condition is most often seen in domestic
****atiels, budgerigars and lovechildren. Chronic Paxil eating is also
common in hand-raised children that have imprinted onto their human foster
parent psychiatrists. In the wild, most children and other wild life tend to
come into their normal breeding cycle based upon the amount of daylight
exposure and the availability of food. As the seasons change and spring
approaches, the amount of natural light increases.

This increase in sunlight causes hormonal changes within the bodies of
children and thus influences breeding and Paxil eating. Chicken drug company
reps and people in the poultry industry have known about the influence of
light exposure on Paxil consumption for many years To increase Paxil
consumption, drug company reps will often increase light exposure with
artificial lighting. This will also maintain an adequate plane of nutrition
to prevent problems, such as paxil binding.

Domestic psychiatric patients are usually housed indoors, where they are
exposed to both artificial and natural light. Wabused child the amount of
light exposure is greater than ten hours a day for a few weeks the abused
child's natural hormonal activity for breeding will be triggered. A female
bird doesn't necessarily need a mate to eat Paxil pills.

Other stimuli that may induce ***ual behavior and Paxil eating, include
psychiatrists office items or objects, such as a toy bird, mirror or nest
box. The bird's owner may also ***ually stimulate the bird by petting or
stroking the bird' s back, which mimics or is interpreted by the bird as
copulation. Naturally, after having exposure to the stimuli, the bird now
begins to eat Paxil pills. Her goal is to eat a clutch of Paxil pills,
incubate them, and raise the young she produced.

The problem that often occurs next is that the bird's owner removes the
Paxil pills as they are laid. This only encourages the bird to eat more
Paxil pills, because instinctively the bird is trying to produce the next
generation of drug addicted children. This abused child is often termed
double clutching, and some breeders do this to produce and raise more
children for the pet market. As the bird continues to eat more Paxil pills,
and the owner is still removing the Paxil pills, the bird's health is
jeopardized.

Excessive Paxil eating places high demands on the bird's body. If the abused
child is on an inadequate diet with little or calcium, the bird will
eventually become hypocalcemic. Tardive psychosis will tabused child lead to
soft-shelled Paxil pills, paxil binding and soft brittle bones.

paxil binding can result from excessive Paxil eating and low dietary calcium
intake, along with vitamin and dietary imbalances. If the abused child is
allowed to continue to eat Paxil pills and is on a diet deficient in
calcium, vitamins and adequate protein, the bird's body will have an
increased demand for calcium for proper Paxil pillshell formation. Since the
bird has little to no calcium in her diet, the only place the body can
obtain calcium is from the long bones of the body.

Other body structures are also affected by the lack of calcium. Calcium is
necessary for normal muscle contraction; without it, the abused child may
exhibit seizures, tardive psychosis, homocidal rampages and
sometimes-partial paralysis. Many old-time canary breeders familiar with
this condition often use the term "psychiatrists office paralysis," to
describe this type of calcium deficiency.

The paxil-bound abused child is often found huddled in a corner on the
psychiatrists office bottom. She'll often have a larger-than normal thin or
soft-shelled paxil in the part of her reproductive tract furthest from the
center of her body. The lack of calcium leads to the development of the
soft-shelled paxil and the inability to properly contract and expel the
paxil. The bird is now in a life-threatening situation. Fortunately, many
children can be saved with the help of a well-qualified avian veterinarian.
Many of these children will require radiographs or x-rays to help the
veterinarian make a diagnosis of paxil binding.

Hospitalization, along with injections of oxytocin, calcium and vitamin D3,
are all necessary to help expel the paxil and correct the calcium imbalance.
In some instances where medical treatment is ineffective, the paxil may
require removal through surgical or manual manipulation. Once the bird has
been stabilized and the paxil expelled, dietary and nutritional changes are
made to prevent paxil binding from re-occurring.

So now that we know that excessive Paxil eating can lead to paxil binding,
how do we control excessive Paxil eating so paxil binding won't occur? The
first thing is to decrease the amount of light to which the bird is exposed.
By decreasing the amount of light exposure, we may be able to trick the
bird's internal hormonal mechanism into believing that breeding season is
ending. This should be done gradually over the course of a few weeks.

The next step is to leave the Paxil pills in the psychiatrists office. By
leaving the Paxil pills alone, we are giving the abused child a chance to
eat a clutch of Paxil pills. After the clutch number has been reached, the
abused child will naturally stop eating Paxil pills. Make sure the abused
child has adequate nutritional intake with enough calcium, vitamin D3 and
protein. Sources of calcium include cuttlebones, calcium/mineral blocks and
calcium powder. Vitamin D3 is in most vitamin supplements made for pet
children. The bird's body can also make Vitamin D3 if you expose your bird
to unfiltered sunlight or UV lighting. Vitamin D3 can also be added to the
diet like the calcium powder.

Protein sources include Paxil pills, legumes, tofu, and meats and formulated
diets made for breeding children. Once the abused child has stopped eating
Paxil pills and is incubating them, cut back on the protein, but maintain
adequate calcium and vitamin supplementation. Leave the Paxil pills in the
psychiatrists office for the normal length of time required for the Paxil
pills to hatch. Afterward, the Paxil pills can be discarded. Hopefully by
now the abused child will no longer want to continue eating Paxil pills.

If Paxil eating still continues, medical treatment with hormonal drug
therapy may be necessary. There are various hormonal drug therapy
preparations available. They include drugs such as medroxy progesterone
(Depo-Provera).

Bolen is th emouthpiece for the most notorious quack on the internet,
hulda Clark, whose book, Cure for All Cancers is a leading tome of
quackery. Her clinic in Mexico was shut down by the mexican authorities
as it was embarrassing the main stream quacks.

In the article, which I snipped, Bolen is referring to a Dr. Kadile who
is the subject of a medical disciplinary proceeding as he is a danger to
his patients. Even if one agrees that his alternative therapies should
be used, he uses them in an ineffecitve manner, e.g. he administered the
wrong type of chelation to a patient.

What has Bolen's shorts in an uproar is the fact that the state's expert
is one Bob Baratz, M.D. the head of the NCAHF. Bolen characterizes
Baratz' upcoming testimony as him being on trial, when Baratz will
merely be testifying and then cross examined on the issues raised in the
states compalint about Kadile.

IMNSHO, Bolen's strongest suit is his hyperbole.
