The Press has Noticed BBW Clothing (fat)
WCVB is a TV channel that broadcasts in the area around Boston,
Massachusetts, in the U.S.A. They have posted a story about a
"plus-sized" model, a size 12, and about how fashion designers are
beginning to notice that most women are not size 2 and do not look
good in clothing designed for a size 2, and will not buy clothing
which they do not look good in. The story points out that the average
woman is a size 14. This is old news to most of us.
The channel has online forums, which can be reached at URL
http://www.thebostonchannel.com/index.html
Among the forum questions, are:
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
What Size Woman are You?
What Size Woman Do You Like?
For decades the fashion industry has designed clothing for rail-thin
women such as high-fashion models, but now it's beginning to take
notice of, and create clothing, for fuller-figured women.
If you're a woman, how do you describe yourself and are you happy with
the way you look?
If you're a man, what kind of woman are you attracted to? Super skinny
women or fuller sized females? Why?

Among those who are participating in the forum is a supersized woman
who uses the handle BBWMontana. She may or may not be connected with
bbwdatefinder.com. She also talked about having an online BBWlovers
group.
I started to respond, and then suddenly felt my posting something
would be futile. I don't think I'd convince anyone, but I wish
someone else would.
It might be good if we spread the word here and to NAAFA and related
places, so that the point of view of the fat acceptance community gets
heard in discussions of this kind.
If we can figure out how to contact BBWMontana, she also sounds like
someone who would enjoy participating here. Or some of us would enjoy
participating there.
