My mother (age 49) has been suffering with Graves' disease for over a
year, fairly severe having all three symptoms.. Her thyroid (including
a very large goiter), her eyes (she had orbital decompression last
winter but her eyes still haven't recovered, merely set back in, still
severely light sensitive with double vision) and her skin (which she
also has on the backs of her legs and they're still trying to
determine if the patches on her arms are related.)

Last week she had her thyroid removed. She got a call today from
pathology that there were also cancer cells in her thyroid.

Has anyone ever heard of Graves Disease /and/ thyroid cancer at the
same time? Any resource links would be greatly appreciated. We've been
relying on the information from her doctors', but I'd really like to
know we are looking at.
