Default Two questions about SSRI medication

Effexor is not an SSRI. It's classified as a serotonin-norepinephrine
reuptake inhibitor (SNRI). At high doses Effexor also inhibits the reuptake
of dopamine.

The above flies in the face of the facts:

Prozac has the longest half-life of the SSRIs. Typical dosage: 20 to 60
mg/day.

Paxil has the shortest half-life of the SSRIs. Typical dosage: 20 to 50
mg/day.
