Your Opinion Please - HMO or PPO? for prosta work
I think an HMO significantly helped contribute to my problem. Didn't
have a clue what prostatis was when I went to my primary care for burning
urination. No tests or anything put me on doxycycline, helped, but 10
days later was back, he put me through three or four iterations before
sending me to a urologist. I believe I may have started with a simple
uniary tract infection (I had a low grade fever also) that turned chronic
because of improper treatment. Uroligist took months to get into and I
was very uncomfortable during that time. Urologist put me on Bactrum for
10 days and told me I had a refill if "I needed", I didn't refill and the
same thing came back. Uroligist proceded to yell at me for not refilling
the prescription, then tells me I needed to be on it till I was
clear............... So 15 years later I still have issues, but not
affecting my life much.
