Default Seroquel

Does anybody know about Seroquel ( Atypical Antipsychotic) being used in
conjunction with an antidepressant in the treatment of treatment resistant
depression or does anybody have any experience using an AD plus Seroquel ?

Default Seroquel

I take Seroquel for this exact reason. I use it in conjunction with
Effexor XR. It has proven to be a bit effective for me. It has a
drowsy factor that I also take it for. To help me sleep. I am a bit
better off than I was just on the plain Effexor. My pdoc says its
quite common to use it in conjunction with an AD. I'm using it at
500mg so I don't have a lot of it. At the level I take it does not
cause me any of the psychotic side effects. Or rather the side effects
that come with taking an antipsychotic. Of course that is just my
case. YMMV. I don't know what other info you may want.

Ask and I'll try to answer to the best of my ability

I use anti-depressants, mood stabilizers and seroquel. It has been a good
combination for me. But I have had the occasional psychotic episode so that is
why they put me on the seroquel. Now I am on high dosages at night to help me
sleep. Works for me!

Hi Mindy. No I haven't had weight gain from the Seroquel. It works like a gem,
I take 400 mg and it puts me to sleep like a baby.

It's amazing how different we all are. I haven't had a full
blown migraine since I went on it.

Default Seroquel (insomnia)

My doctor has just prescribed Seroquel for my PMDD and terrible
insomnia. Has anyone taken one pill at night (25mg)? I'm interested
in your feedback.

I took it for a few months at 400mg a day, it caused me to go to the
hospital and I almost died. At 25 dont worry about that though.

Default Seroquel (seroquel)

Hi Laura,

I have had Seroquel prescribed for my sleep. I started out with the low dose,
but have gone up.

What is PMDD?

I like Seroquel as it puts me to sleep fast.
It makes me sleep longer than normal, sometimes. My doctor told me it also has
a mood stabalizing effect.
