I don't much care who you are, Usenet convention expects a person to check
each newsgroup, before cross-posting, to ascertain what is permitted and
what is welcome and what is not.
It's called a FAQ or Charter. Do the work next time.

If you search google with terms like charter and the name of the newsgroup,
they usually are easy to spot.
